Outstanding set of documents to a couple of German Jews who could escape the Holocaust. Set includes the Kennkarte and Reisepass (passport) to a Jew from Rostock and his wife from Berlin. Both Kennkarte and Reisepass have the well known red "J" that stigmatize all the Jews within the Reich and occupied lands, and also their names were Israel for men and Sara for women. All 4 documents are in perfect condition. There's a very interesting detail in the Kennkarte of the Jewish woman, and it's the way she is looking at the camera, sad and with suspicion.
Set also includes the military passport to the man during the Kaiser times, when he fought in the WW1, being a Jew! So he was a patriot. Sadly when Nazis came to power didn't take it into account!
It seems he escaped Nazi horror and arrived in UK, where he elisted the British Army in 1940. Set also includes his British solider passport.
Last document is a National registration identity card issued to this Jew, in poor condition.
