Very interesting set of photo and badge that belonged to a participant of the Köln Karneval that was indeed a Wehrmacht soldier! Köln ALAAF was the motto used during the carnival that means "Köln for everyone". This photo shows a Wehrmacht soldier in his military uniform during the carnival, with make up and helmet while acting. He is wearing this badge that completes the set, which is a very nice badge marked "Jörgum & Trefz. Frankfurt a.M." on the reverse. This badge must be a decoration given to members of organization of the Kölner Karneval. Very rare item since during III Reich, the activist, mocking and critical nature of the carnival was prohibited by the Nazis and they gave it an anti-Semitic orientation and it was used at the same time as a way to mock about the enemies of the Reich. We offer photo and badge from first photo . Rest photos we just show this was really anti Semitic event.
