The postal identity card of one of the employees of the local post office of Auschwitz, in the same period that the infamous concentration camp of Auschwitz was sat up. Card was issued in 1943, so that was one of the most busy years in camp's history. Most probably, this man manipulated many parcels and letters from camp inmates and also for them, as well as from and to SS men that worked in the camp. Condition is excellent, with photo of the employee and some nice stamps with Auschwitz perfectly legible. Unfortunately, someone take the postage stamp from under photo . Rare item for sure .
