Very graphic and gruesome picture from concentration camp in Esterwegen by the Nazis, that indeed was a satellite camp of KL Buchenwald. This photo also shows some bystanders, some wearing German uniforms and others black uniforms, that could be police or prison guards. See description on back side .
In 1937 Esterwegen was called Lager VII and ruled by the Justizministerium, but in fact the torture etc just kept on going.
