Nice set of 19 photos of Polish prisoners POWs in German POW camp theater . Photos show different scenes of different theater pieces played by Polish prisoners of war in German Stalag or POW camp. Some of them, the majority, have texts written on them and POW camp censorship ink-stamp. Condition is excellent and they show us a rare and atypical side of POW camps' daily life which was theater companies formed by POWs.
Stalag VI-B was a German POW camp of the Second World War (Stammlager), located about 3 km (1.9 miles) east of Versen in the Emsland district of Lower Saxony, north-western Germany, near the border with the Netherlands.
