Product category:

Very Rare Set That Belonged to a French Political Prisoner in KL Buchenwald - Jacket and Photo. Very few times can we offer a jacket like this, of civilian use, with a period photo where the owner is using it in the camp or just after the liberation. In the photo we can see this French man wearing this very exact jacket! The jacket is for civilian use that probably he brought to the camp when he was deported and he was given number 41140, as we can see in the cloth patch with the identification number that he wore in the camp. The inmate was researched and we attach a photo of the index card with his information in the KL Buchenwald archives. His name was Auguste Menage. The jacket has some mothing on the shoulder area but it's in good overall condition. A museum set!
