Relic condition Waffen SS single decal M42 helmet, ground dug in Russia, in Demjansk pocket area. This helmet preserves a 30% of the original SS decal, and SS runes are still visible, in black over a white background. Overall condition of helmet is quite poor, since it was ground dug, but it's solid with no parts that come off, or loose parts so it's easily displayable. For a ground dug piece, it has some holes on the top due to corrosion, but the fact that SS decal is visible is what gives this helmet the real value. Having such a helmet gives you the chance to own a piece of history, that saw battle and was left there, on the battlefield, until nowadays. More exactly in the famous Demjansk pocket, where almost all the Waffen SS Totenkopf Division was wiped out by Russian army during the Pocket of Demjansk.
