A great item that smells war and history! This leather belt with buckle is an complete set that belonged to a Wehrmacht soldier and it hasn't been modified since the second world war. It's an early model by the prestigious maker Assmann und Söhne from Lüdenscheid, Germany, well known for their fabulous manufacture in metal and leather. Buckle is an early niquel issue and has a beautiful patina that gives it lots of character and it shows use in battle. It comes with the typical attached original leather tab with the maker mark of Assmann und Söhne stamped. As well as leather belt, complete and with the mark of lenght: 115 cm. Leather belt is also well worn and with a beautiful combat usage. All is in perfect condition and all the 5 pieces are fully functional. Details of buckle are fantastic and it's a magnificent piece and a must for all kind of III Reich militaria collectors, because the "Gott mit Uns" buckle is an icon of the WW2, without any doubt.
